“To find enlightenment, seek nowhere, it lies within you.”

Mabon, the autumn equinox, is a time of balance, slowing down, evaluation, surrender, transition, creating boundaries, letting go, clearing blocks, developing new perspectives, and preparing for winter. A time to enjoy the season as colours and energies change. The deck can be used throughout the year, not just for autumn equinox. Yule, Beltane, Samhain and other seasonal festivals are also available.

We have many spreads suggested for all kinds of guidance, including a 7 card introduction to the deck and learning the seasons of the witch. A 2 card, 3 card, Apple of my Eye Cross 7 card, Falling Leaves 5 card, Darkness Falls 4 card, Molasses 4 card, Elderberries extra draw cards, and a Maple Tree  5 card. We have major themes of nature, gratitude, goal setting, grounding, peace, and ancestral healing.

The cards have a deep red edging and the box has red gold embossing. Each card carries an image, title, number, 3 keywords, a 10 word affirmation, and a 100 word message. All messages begin with the words “Your higher self”. There are short additional spells, chant, concoctions, herb bundle, exercise and a card blessing. I’m suggesting this as a gift for a young person who is seeking a popular first deck of witchy style cards to read for themselves and other young people in their circle of friends.
