“The Eye” DVD does not have much in special feature on it, Of course it’s got the movie, and it had a documentary on the making of the film and includes the two U.S. trailers to help promote the film. The movie is not dubbed with American voices, however there are subtitles. So overall not a DVD packed with goodies but The Eye is still one hell of a scary film.

My Review of “The Eye”.

“The Eye” is by far the best Asian film I have ever seen, not to mention the most scariest film I have ever seen. The film is about a blind women who gets an eye transplant, however the eye’s that she gets are more than just for seeing the real world, they can see beyond to the world of the dead. Soon the women starts to see dead people and the spirits who come and take them to the after life, however she begins to be haunted by spirits who have yet to pass over to the other side.

The movie is emotionally suspenseful, most of the time your scared as hell, I for one never am never scared by horror films but this one takes the cake, If it scared me it will scare you. The film has this “Sixth Sense” feel to it, and much like “The Ring” it’s visually scary. The directing and effects are brilliant, the acting is great as well, I would not be surprised to see an American remake of this film sometime soon, I know there are talks of it, but I have yet to hear anything new about it. Overall this film is scary, anyone who say’s it not must be living in hell or must be dead themselves. Go rent it and check it out.
