Probably the best, most well developed Super hero film ever made. Spider-man 2 has all the greatness that every superhero film should have and then some. 862602_a[1]
The story picks up two years after the first film, Peter Parker is still Spider-man fighting crime in NYC and so on, but his life as a college student and personal life is taking a big hit psychically and mentally, as Spider-man is taking up most of his time. The movie is basically about his choice as if he really wants to be Spider-man or not.

Other than go into detail and in-depth about the story. I’d like to talk about how well made the film was, it had great acting and an awesome screenplay, Oscar worthy in my opinion. The effects are awesome and far superior to the first film. Spiderman does not look computer animated in this one as much as he did in the first film.

Sam Raimi did a superior job directing this film, as a great director that is well known and loved by all us horror freaks, we get a little bit of “Evil Dead” in Spider-man 2. There is a scene which involves a bunch of doctors trying to remove Doc. Ocks. arms, well when he wakes up we and goes crazy we get a a little bit of an ode to Evil Dead, involving a chainsaw and some cool fast camera motions. I felt like it was Sam’s way of telling us horror fan’s he’s still the same old Sam.

Overall I loved this film, It hit me on some many levels emotionally and mentally. The film has a message about Faith, Hope, Love and Density. It’s more than just and action flick or super hero film. Well worth checking out and spending ten dollars on to see.
