Skin Crawl is a film that’s right up your ally if your a fan of the television series Dark Shadows. Unfortunately for this film, I could never stand the look of the show, nonetheless the stories that used to bore me so much as child. And they still do. Honestly the digital appearance with the sharp video look really turns me off. It makes everything look so unrealistic. But besides that; this film really has nothing to offer the true horror fans as the story movie along.

The story starts off during what looks to be around the seventeen to eighteen hundreds. A coven of witches puts a curse on anyone who would harm their descendants. Fast forward to the now, and we experience a story where a guy had his wife murdered in order to inherit her wealth. Little does hew know that she is actually a descendent of this coven of witches, and little do they know that curse is about to take full effect, and take it’s vengeance out of him and his band of killers.

Basically this film, along with it’s bad flat video look; has more tits, ass and softcore screwing around than it does any kind of horror. Basically the majority of the film is Julian Wells and some guy screwing around in bed. The real horror action only happens at the very end of the film. We do get a few cameo appearances in the film as well, a big one from Debbie Rochon and Misty Mundae as well. Speaking of the acting, it’s not that great. But what do you expect from a film like this. No one in this movie is bound to win an Oscar anytime soon.

Overall and Personally, the only good thing this film has to offer is in the matter of how it was filmed. The shots used and the editing are pretty decent. But no way in hell is this any kind of b-movie masterpiece. I expected more from this Shock-O- Rama release. It was cool with the cockroaches and shit crawling all over, and the Debbie Rochon Zombie, but it’s not a film that most horror fans are going to sit though. If you like softcore porn and the feel and look of Dark Shadows, with some horror elements thrown in than this is up your ally. But as for me, Well! You get the picture.
