World War Z is fucking awesome. Plan and simple. I can’t think of anything else to say. Now I know why some of the Hollywood elites are trying to grab the rights to turn this book into the film. The book is written by Max Brooks whom also wrote the Zombie Survival Guide, brings this zombie epic to life.
The Book follows a reporter whom is going throughout the world documenting the stories that took place before humanity took back the world from the zombies. We are taken into the lives of many people of different cultures and how they dealt with the undead and lived to tell about it. The book kind of describes the undead as being similar to Romero zombies. But the book takes the whole zombie universe into a whole other world. Everything from the undead walking across the seas and also being frozen by harsh winters just to thaw out and attack again months later. The book cover situations from all over the world, and fighting zombies in many different environments. No stone is left unturned.
Overall, I got to listen to this book and not read it. I spent the whole week to and from work listening to these Cd’s and hell I ‘ll listen to them again. I sure if you like reading, you’ll love the book, however if you can get the book of CD. It’s well worth they buy and a great listen to in your car. Highly, Highly HIGHLY! recommend.
