I think that Camp Motion Pictures has got something good going for themselves. These new Retro 80’s film which are the first releases from the label, may be very bad quality low budget eighties flicks, But my god are they fun to watch. I normally would pass on a film like this and not even consider reviewing it. But after getting piss drunk last Friday watching Cannibal Campout, and having such a blast watching that film, I had to check out Woodchipper Massacre.

Although Woodchipper Massacre is not as good as Cannibal Campout, it was still a fucking blast to watch. Yes it is one of those films that’s so bad, it’s good. Let’s put it this way, Woodchipper Massacre looks like a bad episode of Who’s the Boss. The movie had to be shot on Super VHS or Beta tape. It had a look just like an eighties television show, and the feel of the film was very amateur and flat.

The acting was way over the top. It was bad, but bad in a way that it was good. Because it was in fact funny. If that makes sense! Anyway, lets just say that it had very bad overacting and very annoying characters, however it’s within the over the top acting that makes the film so much more campy and funny.

There is nothing great in terms of special effects, just some fake blood on the ground and on the side of the wood chipper. Overall there were no special effects at all. And there were only two killing in the whole entire film. So don’t expect much gore or effects, it has almost nothing.

Overall, Woodchipper Massacre is a funny, so bad its good camp movie. It’s is so over the top that it is worth watching just for the sheer fact that it’s a wacky b-movie experience. Nothing more than that. If you can’t get past all that is bad in this film,( Which is pretty much the whole movie.) then you’ll probably want to pass on it. However if your entertained by bad b-movies. You might want to give this one a go.
