Another odd and weird film from the east that made it way here to the U.S. for me to review. Yes “Whispering Corridors” is weird and scary, it’s a film that I would not be surprised if we saw a U.S. remake out of it, but we probably won’t.

The Film is about a young girl in a all girls private school, where the teachers are asshole and pretty much humiliate any student that does anything wrong. Well a past student comes in to take over a homeroom class and it’s a mean ass guy who just wants to make all the girls lives a living hell. Well as you guessed with any horror film all this weird stuff starts to happen, people start to die and then we find out that there are ghosts from the past haunting the school.

The overall production value and atmosphere of the film is pretty good, the story is a bit slow and does drag, and at certain times because of it’s lack of pacing I found myself drifting away and wanting to do other things because the story seemed to be pretty redundant until the very end when we find out the secret behind the whole film. The acting and directing were pretty decent, and the gore and effects were not all that bad either. Overall it’s an alright flick, but nothing that will make you want to rush out and buy or rent.
