Alright so Troy is not a Horror or Sci-fi film, and some can argue that it’s not a fantasy film either, but the reason for my review is that it has an ancient fantasy feel to it. I loved every second of Troy, so of the best fighting scenes I’ve ever seen, and some of the goriest kills ever shot on film. There is plenty of over the top action and great special effects. The script is unbelievable and the acting is some of the best I’ve ever seen, Brad Pitt was excellent, possibility his best performance since “12 Monkeys”. Overall its a great film of epic proportions, It’s a long film, but I loved every second of it, even the love story is great. This film is well worth the trip to the movie theater to check out, but if you can’t get there be sure to pick this one up when it comes out on DVD.
