I’m standing firm on that quote above, I think Brian Keene is the next Stephen King. This is one of those books that not only scares the living shit out of you, it will make stay up all night and day reading more and more until you reach the end of the book. Words cannot describe how detailed and graphic this zombie book is. The facts are this. It’s not only the Living Dead that scare you in the book, but it’s the human race as well. It questions us, humans as a race and if we can actually stand together and fight off an evil so evil god can’t even help us. No situation is sugarcoated, this book is by no means for the weak at heart, hell I won’t be surprised if someone dies from fright reading this book. It’s a mind twister, when you finish reading this book you’ll look at the world different. the other day I was driving my car and saw some old guy walking down the street in the pitch dark at 2am, I was scared shitless.
The book is one hell of ( and I swear to myself I’d never use this word while writing reviews but I am going to here.) a real mindfuck. People you want to read a good book, you want to have the living crap scared out of you. Do you want to learn how not to be put in the worst situation possible, go to the book store, buy this book, or order it online. I guarantee you won’t put this book down.
