Ok some of you who might of seen this film are probably wondering why I gave this film a good rating, well “Terminal Error” despite it’s video game effects and low production value became a guilty pleasure film of mine. As I watched this film it reminded me of one of those Sunday night Disney films that ABC used to air on Television when I was a kid. Although it had some scary scenes. (Well not scary to me but maybe to young kids.) It had a Disney type feel to it, like it belonged on the Disney Channel late at night.
“Terminal Error” is one of those films where the script is a Hollywood type script and if done right ILM would of done the effects. But that’s not the case, It was made low budget style to the best of the directors ability. But although it lacked in production value and in so many other areas, it just one of those popcorn films that anyone could enjoy. It just reminded me of those Disney films and cheesy Sci-fi films I watched when I was a kid.
The acting was alright and there are some semi-known television actors in the film. The story was cool and fun and although the script was slow at times, the film made up for itself. yes I know this review is weird, I know that there was not much to this film but I had fun watching it and it kept my attention. Call it a guilty pleasure film if you would. I liked it.
