Yeah from above you can tell I was not much into this compilation of short films. They kind of reminded me of all the first time student films I watched in film class, I’ll even admit that my first film was nothing great, but as much as I tried to enjoy any of the films included on this DVD, I was simply just bored with most of them and some I was disgusted by, Is it only more or is it really nasty and just gross to see a movie with toilet bowls full of shit on the rim of them. I don’t see how that could fit into any movie and be artistic or help with the flow of the story. I am of course talking about the short film “The Shitter” which I thought would be funny, which some part where, but I was more grossed out than anything. (If you really want to see a good movie that involves shit and does it tastefully check out Dan West and Rick Popko’s “Monsturd”.) There were some other films most of which were just one or two shot shorts with odd music of an odd voiceover, which personally I did not really care for at all. I think this movie would do good on a label such as Brain Damage Films, it’s along the line of something that would be released by then although I must admit Brain Damage films are getting better. I just could not get into these shot films, I really don’t see the horror in any of the stories, although there were some scenes in some of the films that were freaky, Overall I think the majority of my readers would be pissed off at me If I told them this film was worth checking out.
