Ok , so you all must be saying to yourself, dam why does Horror Bob like this movie so much. I’ll tell you why, My favorite movie of all time is Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window”, and this film follows the “Rear Window” formula almost perfectly.
Set in a apartment building we follow Martin, a 24 year old guy living with his mother and sister in a high rise somewhere in what I guess is New York City. Martin is one of those kids that survived that great disease mentioned in the first film that was spread by roaches. in this film he acts just like Jimmy Stewart did in “Rear Window” except his legs are not broken, he just kind of can’t leave his room a lot because certain elements of the real world outside can cause him to all all kind of respiratory attacks and reactions. So anyway, most of his days are spent in his room with his camera. He photographs and watches people who live in the apartments across the way, yeah kind of like a peeping tom, but to him it’s more of an art form. Well from there, you guessed it, the Judas breed shows up and starts killing people, and Martin starts to witness it all though his camera.
Overall The film was great, I really enjoyed it, some of the acting was a little weak, but nothing to bad. the effects were great and the directing awesome. this is one worth renting, Hitchcock fans will especially enjoy this one.
