Here’s another film that has a great box cover, a great title hot naked vampire girls and just hot naked girls, but fails on so many levels. Based on the story “Vampires Carmilla” seems to have more of a vampire story to it than Zombie. Don’t get me wrong there are zombies in the film but it seems like they really are not doing much in a sense that they were nothing but boring. The vampires on the other hand were very interesting characters that all had a unique structure to them. They were good characters and although the acting was not the greatest the actors really helped bring them to life.
The acting in the film was so-so we had some great male leads that stood out and a few female leads were pretty decent as well. The effects were ok some of the make-up effects looked good when it came to doing the vampire’s and scenes that involved blood, but the zombie make-up looked a bit fake at times. The directing and camera angle looked very amateurish, and the editing was not that great at all. Production value was the best it could of been for a low budget film, but overall it was a hard sell for me.
Can’t recommend this one for horror fans, unless your into cheesy horror films with a major b-movie feel, hell it is a b-movie, then you might enjoy this one. but for me, can’t say it did much as I even had a hard time watching it.
