I don’t know what to say folks. All I know is the company that sent me this film is 0-4 with me. I haven’t given one film they sent my way a reviewer higher than a star and a half. The problem is that these films are amateur films that are just a waste of my time. They are films that are meant to help upcoming filmmaker get experience and experiment with the art of filmmaking. They are meant for only their friends and family to watch, not the rest of the world. With that said you know that this review will be short.

Angus Valley Farms is shot documentary style. However it seems more like a home video done by a bunch of friends, who are in fact copying off of The Blair Witch Project. It’s obvious, the first part of the movie, which was more than enough for me to watch, was like watching your cousins first birthday party. Plan and simple I felt like I was watching a family video. These are the kind of films that I simply ask no one send to me. Yet I feel the need to review them for some odd reason. Simple put it just proves that anyone can make a movie theses days. I simply wish more filmmakers would go get a job, save their money, and take a few years to develop an idea before rushing into it. I hate bashing the filmmakers of this movie, it’s really not fare to them, because I’m sure in some way this film is nothing more than that of a student film. But it should be known that the sad truth in the world of filmmaking is all about catching your audience in the first five-fifteen minutes of your film. That’s what makes it a success, no matter how poor the end result is. This film lost me about thirty seconds into it. Then got shut off around ten minutes.

So in a nutshell it’s really not fare of me to actually say I gave this film a chance, nor would I have. If you can’t get my attention right off the bat, then you failed. However like I stated above I’m sure this film is simply just a learning experience, and probably should of never made it this far. But none the less, and this is towards the filmmakers, don’t let this review put you down. Just keep on trying to get better.
