At least these movies have a chance when they are double billed in this case. Raising Hell and Malefic are 2 quite entertaining films if you want to call them that. R.H. is more of a serious drama horror then the cheese ball alien snake slug chasing a few Goths through the forest of Malefic.
Malefic contains Jeff Dylan Graham from the b-horror.com regime along with Lilth Stabs (Bad Movie Police, Cremains, Vampire Call Girls) along with a few of their dark and serious crew of Gothers. I’m not apposed to any Goth entails but it’s just when you see something, say like a giant alien looking snakey creature flying past you I’m pretty sure your _expression would be more a surprise “What the Donkey Balls was that?”, then Lilith Stabs with her monotone _expression and acting. If you are unfamiliar with Lilith (I’m not putting you down at all Lilith, your way too hot to say anything bad about) Stabs then just think of the most depressing thought, play The Cure’s album Desintigration and now moop around. That’s it people, you’ve got it. When you are being chased I’m sure a little fear would come over you? Not these band of merry teamsters. They’ve seen it all and except fate for what it is because they were gonna die anyways. Well, one by one they get picked off in pretty gruesome ways but it comes off way to queer all around. Monster runs rampant deal, you know what I mean? Just like B-Horror’s other features (HELLBOUND: Book Of The Dead, CREMAINS, DEAD CLOWNS), there is a sense of some production value threw it all.
Now Raising Hell has a little more to it’s value with the add of people other than your best friends. Some older gentleman, board room style to get a more adult frame of mind. Anyways, the Governer lays to waste all that get in his way or stand up to his views. He slacking off and not getting the job completed so the reticule begins. He can’t take it so the law is laid by the man and people are wasted. Blah blah blah, a spell book will do justice. I can channel my revenge and no one will ever find out. Even though they are all connected closely. The only thing that holds this one together would be the actual demon exacter revenger in a full bodied MONSTER IN THE CLOSET get up which really looks cool but falls short due to an all to familiar plot.
I’m somewhat of a fan of b-horror.com material so you might want to check this out or just say to yourself this guys knows shit about dick. Whatever the point may be, I had some fun.
