I know there is surely a huge scene for the woman in prison movies. Caged Heat, Bamboo House Of Dolls, 10 Violent woman and so on. It seems to be a perfect match for the Bottled up aggressor. Naked woman, lesbian love and hot action all within the compounds of a hellish prison. These guys thought it would be fun to bring back that old time excitement with a Benny Hill / Troma feel. Prison a-go-go is the end result.
Janie (Laura Walton), the title character is rooming with her pal who gets ransacked in the kitchen and taken away to a Turkish Hellish prison by Dr. Hurtrider for some hellish experiments. Janie now has to get her friend out of the Turkish prison. How will she do it? Where will she find her? A card was dropped while her roomy was swept away and now the location is fixed in. Having to get there is the next problem. A local bum she is friends with has to perish so she gives him a few machete whacks and off to prison she goes. Now the action begins. She meets all her inmates which include a wide variety of goofy teamsters. The rest is pretty much a hilarious romp in the camp. Gay guards who can’t take the sexy Jackpot (Rhonda Shear) seducing them. Willard the sarcastic Warden who loves to give advice and play it cool. He’s probably the funniest character of them all. The ninjas who need to just get into a brawl cause that’s what they do and so on. Appearances by Lloyd Kaufman and Mary Woronov make for a star studded flick.
This feature is hilarious though. Sure there is lots of really really stupid dialogue but some of the characters alone do this movie justice. Like I said, Benny Hill meets Troma. I certainly had fun watching it. The main attraction to all prison flicks is usually the gratuitous nudity. Unfortunately there isn’t enough but for those who need some sort of fixin, there is a clock displayed at the bottom corner to let in you on the shower scenes coming up, a countdown if you will to a few booby shots. Good times. Lots of really bad filler but good times nonetheless.
