Remember that movie with Charlie Sheen called “The Wrath” that was the first film that came to mind when I saw this film, however it’s not as good as “The Wrath” and well the story is different, slightly.
“Speed Demon” is kind of a campy low budget horror film, it’s not at all scary. In fact I kind of laughed during most of it. The acting was below average but some of it was alright. one thing I can honestly say I did like about this film was some of the dialogue used in the script, Some of the lines I’m sorry to say are classic. The pacing of the film is really good and the quality is good as well, your not going to get some half-ass edited piece of garbage film if you rent it. There are just some things about this film that just don’t do it for me, such as half-naked guys rubbing blood on each other’s chests. Overall, it’s no Fast and Furious, it’s not scary ,it’s really got nothing but a bunch of good looking actors driving around in cars fighting over two stupid necklaces. Rent at your own risk.
