I though this film was going to be one of those boring foreign horror films I was going to hate. But Visitors was a pretty good flick with a good flowing story that kept my attention. This Australian thriller was about a Women (Georgia) played by Radha Mitchell (Pitch Black), who sets around the world on a sail boat by herself. As she is on her trip cabin fever starts to set in and she starts experiencing visions of ghost on board the ship, not knowing if they are real or just hallucinations.
The plot can be slow at times but does move along quickly for most of the film, The story in it’s self is good and kind of creepy at moments. The Acting is very good and believable, the effects are somewhat cheap but they work. Overall it’s a pretty good flick and well worth renting. I’m not sure if the hardcore horror fans will enjoy it as it’s more of a ghostly thriller on the lines of “The Sixth Sense” than it is an all out action horror flick.
