“London Voodoo” is a stylish film that deals with possession and well, voodoo. The film is much like “The Exorcist” and “Serpent of the Rainbow”. But may I say that I thought London Voodoo is much better than “Serpent of the Rainbow”.
As far as most of the acting goes, the actors played their parts well, nothing great or award winning in my opinion, but overall the cast is pretty good. The look and quality of the film was a bit annoying as it reminded me much of a British television show, but hey it’s an independent film so I can’t really give them a bad review based on quality. The story was good and complexed but had all the right elements in which made the mood of the story genuinely creepy. There was not much in terms of special effects but we had some good make-up effects and some really gross scenes here and their.
Overall “London Voodoo” is a very well made film and the best film I’ve seen so far from Heretic Films, it got an uncomfortable feel like “The Exorcist” and the freakiness of “Serpent of the Rainbow”.
