I have only two good things to say about this film, first and foremost Sid Haig is in it, but his part is not that big at all. Second, it’s probably a little bit better than Uwe Boll’s first film. Other than that I really don’t know what to say.

I think the main problem with this film was the plot, the whole story was too simple, and the film seemed like one big giant chase scene that lasted 90 or so minutes. I mean every cut went something like this: Group of shoulder walks into a room, zombies attack, kill one of them. then they open a door, it’s a hallway, there’s zombies at the end of it. Shoot some of them. One person gets killed. Open the next door, it’s a lab. and so on… The story was to simple. It took place on a college campus where the infection got loose due to poor experimenting with corpses, people got bit, they turned into zombies next thing you know, the special forces team need to get the blood from one zombie to make an serum to cure all the other zombies. They get the blood about 3 times in the film yet they can never hold onto it. And always have to go back to get more.

The acting was alright I guess, I mean you can’t really have a great performance with a script like this, I mean, hell; This is what an actor would call a “paycheck” film. Sid Haig was good for the two seconds he was in the thing, and well the leads were not all that bad either, but overall don’t expect great acting.

The special effects were decent, Well at least the make-up effects. We get some great zombie gore, and some pretty good zombie make-up. The CGI on the other hand was pretty bad.

Overall, I think due to the poor response of the first film, that this sequel was just a waste of time and money. If I remember correctly the first film bombed worse than “Pluto Nash”, ok well maybe not that bad. But it was no good, so overall this sequel is a little bit better than the first film, but nothing great. The Zombies are cool and that’s about it.
