This film touches on a very touchy subject regarding the internet and sexual predators. I have to admit that going into this flick I was a bit worried about the kind of film it was going to be. I heard a few things about it toward the beginning of the year, but I kind of just put it off. Anyway I think I made a mistake by not seeing it while it had it’s limited release in theaters.

The film follows a young fourteen year old girl, talking online to a thirty something year old man online. They agree to meet and from there, well they end up of this guys house. He’s a photographer, and he has a obsession with taking pictures of young girls. Well this young girl is not there to be taken advantage of. She’s there to take control of the situation and teach this pedophile a lesson.

I kind of don’t want to give to much away about this film in the synopsis. In a nutshell, the plot is pretty simple and basic, and for the most part it can at times be very predictable. I liked the script, but mainly I felt I only liked it because of my personal feelings as to what I think should happen to pedophiles. The script tries to make you feel for him, but I didn’t I actually was routing for the girl the whole time. Ok so I gave part of the plot away. So sue me….

As far as acting goes, the cast which consists only five people, did a pretty good job. I mean hey most of the time it’s just the girl known as Hayley and the pedophile Jeff. But overall they pull off some decent acting. The cinematography is excellent, and the directing is also top notch. The production value is decent, I mean hell it’s nothing special, just a house.

Overall, I don’t have much to really say about this flick, I mean hell if you want to see a pedophile get his kicked by a fourteen year old girl, then you’ll like this film. I will admit that while watching this film I really looked at the film as an American version of Audition, however their not really the same film. Overall it was a good film, It can be slow at times, but I liked it. Probably worth renting over buying though.
