“Gothika” is the 4th Dark Castle film to be released, and I must say I’ve enjoyed Gothika better than the past three films produced by the company. Although Gothika is a sometimes confusing film , with a few plot holes to fill, The acting in the film and imagery used makes Gothika a film that you can get lost in. The performances are great and well worth the money spent to see it in theaters, And although if did not jump once while watching the film everyone around me seemed to be very scared. Now is Gothika a film for the hardcore horror fans? Not at all, I for one knew every little scare tactic they were going to use, most people in the theater didn’t see it coming but I did, so over all I can’t say it was scary. The Film is hover very stylish I liked the use of colors and the way the lighting was used to help give the film an eerie feel. Overall I’d say it a toss up some part’s I like others just bored me, It a film that you might like, hate or in my case just think it’s ok.
