I don’t know what to tell you people, but this might possibility be the worst horror film I have ever watched. Not only did I find it to be a pointless film with actors running away from ghosts in a cave, but about halfway though the DVD the sound cut out on me and was replaced by a tone. I’m guessing when someone was transferring sound to the DVD midway though, someone must have hit the bars and tone button on the machine, then out of no where the sound cuts back in. (And I rented this film.) but besides the DVD problem folks, I just found this film to be just a plan story that had no point at all.
The film packs a pretty good cast and that’s probably the reason it got picked up, but something tell me the actors did it for the money and not for the artistic value of the film. Edward Furlong is in the film, and god when was the last time we saw him. It seems to me like Furlong spent to much time either being sick or smoking a lot of weed on the set, cause he sounded like shit in one scene and then in another he’d sound fine. You want my opinion on the acting, it was not good, and I’m thinking that the director let them say and do whatever they wanted to do. Seemed like a full rein of “Say what you want to say” going on. You get the point.
Story wise, not that original and not at all believable. I mean there was apart where Furlong and another actor crawl though a broken wooden door and the person or thing chasing them does not bash though the door and go after them. The effects are good at times, but sometimes you can just plain tell that it’s fake. Some of the CGI was all over the place.
I don’t know people, I can’t recommend picking this film up, it will keep your attention, but it’s not a fun film at all, hell we’ve seen films like this a million times over. Here’s another film that made it to video hell.
