Last year I produced a film of the same title, but after finding out the hype that this film was getting with the same title and all I had to per sway the director/writer/producer to change the name of our film. good thing I did, cause I think the production value on this film is great and the budget is far beyond what we spent. Although thank god the stories are far from the same.
Well “Dead End” is a crazy tale, kind of similar to the Blair Witch Project story wise, not production wise mind you. With a great cast and an odd tale “Dead End” holds up it’s own, it’s creepy and the believable acting are what make this film. It is a low budget movie however it looks like a Hollywood production, Did I say that it had great production value.
The script and story are pretty good, it is kind of freaky and suspenseful. The film got a great surprise ending, a familiar one at that and you’ll know what I mean when you see it. It’s been done before, but in this film it works well. In the case of effects we get some alright make-up effects. So of them we not that great and did look a bit fake, a certain cut on a girls head comes to mind.
Overall “Dead End” is well worth checking out, it’s a freaky film with some edge of the seat horror action. Check it out.
