I don’t know what to say. I really didn’t like the first Dead Body Man film at all. So I was not looking forward to seeing this one. However this sequel is far superior to the original as in fact it’s so dam bad that it’s very good. Get prepared to witness one of the most sick, twisted, gross B-movies you’ll ever watch.
Dead Body Man 2 is about a crazy killer who’s obsessed with having sex with anything from real women, dead bodies, cows, and his very favorite sexual partners; Chickens. He however is running into problems, He is on a mission from god to kill sinners. However no many how many sinners he kills, it’s not good enough for god, who keep interrupting his porno viewing. The film is very perverse, unmoral, and just plan sick. However it is so dam funny, and so out there, that one can’t help but laugh and continue watching the film.
This is in fact a very low budget b-movie. Their seems to be more ad-libbing than there is dialogue taken from a script. And there’s so much swearing that this film would never see the light of being rated R. The acting, other than the Dead Boy Man himself, oh and well the Irish guy who plays the head is very bad. I mean really bad, and it shows. However the film is one big joke, and that’s what makes it good, you can see past all the flaws and just laugh along with it. The sexual transmitted disease bit is funny as hell.
One can’t really expect to have a top of the line film with good production value with a film like this, in fact the production is as good as shooting a home video of your baby brothers first steps. I mean the quality of video is just as good as a camcorder. The effects are pretty decent for the film, I mean most of the time they look fake, but it works. One thing however is that director Ryan Cavalline is well aware of is how to sell a film. He cast’s good looking girls, unknown girls in fact and gets almost all of them to get topless. I mean I don’t even know if he paid half these girls, but when you mix nudity with gore. It does not matter how bad the production value. Some distributor will pick it up.
Overall, Dead Body Man 2, is one of those rare b-movies that is great to watch if your hanging out with friends, getting drunk or just have an odd sense of humor. Its not by any means a well produced movie, but the comedy and senseless and tasteless gore will either gross you out, or keep you laughing.
