My Review of “I Drink Your Blood”

“I Drink Your Blood” is a cult film that was released in 1971. The film resolves around a group of homeless Satan worshippers whom travel from town to town performing rituals and terrorizing any one in their path. Well what happens is this mess with one little kids older sister, and this little kid takes revenge by killing a rabid dog, taking some blood from it, putting it in meat pies then gives the pies to the group as an offering, getting his revenge. Well it turns into a zombie like film with rabid people running around biting and killing one another.

The film is a bit cheesy in that “B” movie kind of way, but the plot is easy to follow, and the script is pretty good, at least enough to keep most horror fans eyes glued to the screen. The acting is a bit shaky and at times can be annoying but between each actors ability to act the good actors kind of over shadow the bad. The effects are pretty decent, we get some pretty good kills and some great blood effects.

Overall it’s not that bad of a film, it move pretty quick and the story is pretty simple. “I Drink Your Blood” is a 70’s style horror film that only helps make that decade of horror even better.
