Yet another winner in my books. A retelling of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fantasy action adventure from 1925.
A group of travelers crash onto a remote island, far from civilization. The team consisting of Steve Railsback playing Harry, the captured civilian from past excursions. Bruce Boxleitner which plays Challenger. A man with a few skeletons in his closet to boot and the whole team including Asylum veterans Rhett Giles, Jeff Denton, Sarah Lieving, Christina Rosenberg, the list goes on. This crew must fight for their survival amongst the giant ape, huge scorpions and something else? For you to find out.
Personally, I don’t mind if the characters are a little cardboard or the story is a little weak. The whole package is kind of cool and really has some great scenery to view. It’s like your favourite generic band for instance. For me it would be in the death metal genre, as long as the band has gurgling vocals, killer blast to breakdown ratio. As long as your brutal, your good enough for me. They have once again released another film to closely resemble the blockbusters as of today and winning over my heart. You never know so it check out.
