Here’s a film that take horror and fantasy some place different. In this film you are actually inside the mind of the killer, you hear his every thought, fantasy and live his life. He’s got a dog named Lucky, who is a tough ass dog that telepathically talks to the killer ( Millard Mudd), and tells him what to do and what to write (being that Millard is a cartoon writer). The film is odd but it works and it has a solid screenplay. It’s kind of a hard film to really talk about, it a film that you’ll just have to check out for yourself. It’s funny, scary and sometimes just plain weird. There is not much of special effects in the film, just some limbs and blood nothing special. The Acting is not bad for what it worth. The setting is odd and dirty house, covered in beer cans and liquor bottles. For some reason the film works, its weird cause a film like this I would normally just turn off. But it character driven and the script is pretty good. It really more of a toss up some people will get the dark humor others might not. Really the film is based on a true story and from watching the film I think the director wanted to show us, The Viewer what really went though this guys mind. In my opinion he did a good job.
