What a crazy film this was but it worked, It’s a strange story and a very odd film, but the film leaves you on the edge of your seat to the point that your scared because you really don’t know what’s going to happen.
Love Object is a bout a normal guy who works a normal job in a n office, but does not have the best social skills when it comes to women. Well he gets a new assistant at work who happens to be a knockout, Melissa Sagemiller. (Soul Survivors). Well He gets a anatomic doll from a porn site that specializes in sex dolls where you get to pick what they look like. Well the doll begins to take over his life. At first he’s in love with the doll treating it like his wife and everything, until he goes out with his assistant from the office, and he starts to fall for the real deal. Anyway the story gets crazy from there, full of some great scares and one hell of a surprise ending.
Love Object has a good story and it’s has the kind of creepiness that “One Hour Photo” had, where your really not sure if you feel bad for the guy or are creped out by him. The production value is pretty good and the directing and acting are good. Not much gore in the film but some great gadgets of torture and weirdness come in to play. Overall a great film, full of craziness and scares. Well worth renting.
