I really wanted to check this film out after I received news that our own "Cannibal Cam" got quoted in the press release for this film. Well for the most part, I can't say I totally agreed with him, but "Cup of My Blood" was not that bad of a film, but it was nothing great either. Now don't get me wrong it was a decent film, but nothing that made me go ga-ga and feel like I needed to tell the world about it.

    "Cup of My Blood" is a religious horror film, which revolves around the holly grail.  A porn photographer whom hates his job and would rather photograph people as an art form, finds himself in the middle of this mess.  Well after finding out the truth and so on, he realizes that everyone is after the grail and that the truth to it's mystery lies within a hidden link in a porn website. Yeah kind of a weird plot but it works for the most part.

     The production value is pretty decent, mainly all the scenes took place on location.  There was one scene that took place in what looked to be a computer lab, that seemed a bit over done, it not a place that made me like the film any better. The acting was pretty good, I really don't have any complaints, I mean pretty much the acting worked and the actors in the film did a good job at helping their characters come to life. As far as effects go, Nothing really special here, some blood and a few scary looking people, but the make-up and effects were pretty basic, and they worked in helping the film come to life.

   So overall, not a bad flick and probably worth checking out, it's nothing special, but if your into horror films with reglious themes, it might be a film you would like to check out.
