First off, I thought this film started off with a lot of promise, it was shot very well, and the style and overall look of the film was pretty good. However I got so bored watching this film I shut it off several times and then would attempt to finish it throughout the coarse of the night. However when I got to the end, not only was I glad it was over, but I was left wondering what the hell the story was all about. "The Ghosts of Edendale" is another one of those art house horror films. It's not much of a film that the majority of horror fans would enjoy. It's got some weird shots which looked cool, but did not do it for me. The effects were ok, and sometimes pretty scary, but mot of the time they just looked fake. I do give the direction and acting credit, it's a tough script with an odd plot, so I see the real challenge in working on a film like this. But from my point of view, I was bored watching this film and could not bring myself to enjoy it. Overall, if your into slow paced ghost stories this is right up your ally, but as I said above it's not my kind of horror film. -Horror Bob
