In all honesty "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" was a good telling of the classic H.P. Lovecraft story, however the lack of moment and black and white comic like stills that made up this film bored me. Now not to say that the story was bad, matter of fact it was great. but I felt like I was watching something that should be on PBS early in the morning and it was hard for the film to keep my interest, and with all the camera moments moving in and out of each frame, I started to get a little dizzy. Now although the animation was very plain and comic book like, the drawings were still very good, however I think if color was added to the black and white frames that grace this film my interest for it would have been more upbeat. Overall a good story, but I was bored with it, in today's world things need to be fast paced to keep the interest of the majority. In this case I can't see anyone but real hardcore Lovecraft fans, sitting though this film. -Horror Bob
